Dead End

Thanks for checking this out!

What is the Wayfinder?

Wayfinder is designed so that any paragraph could be read as a standalone or it could be your first step on a path that you choose according to your interests. As you choose and read each entry, we’ll suggest related topics that you might want to pursue. This is an invitation to meander. To carry on the ‘berry-picking’ metaphor, search for the berries you find the sweetest.

How do you use it?

For each entry you read, the Wayfinder system will feature two more entries that we think you might like: choose one or ask for more options to choose from if you want. This is like seeing a fork in the road and going the way that’s most likely to have the berries you like. You can always come back via your saved reading history and pick a different way. And if you want another topic, you can ‘take a wild leap’ and end up in a different berry patch.

Carie’s favorite technique for learning a new system is to jump in and poke buttons and see what happens but if you want more guidance or a refresher on how to use this navigation system click ‘Wayfinder guide’

About the author and her practice.

Carie is a scientist, lawyer and Feldenkrais practitioner, and a self proclaimed expert at meandering. Through her various practices she has gathered philosophies and information for people who want to move more easily, improve their balance, raise their cognitive resilience or just follow their curiosity. The Wayfinder is ultimately ‘Feldenkraisian’ because it puts you in control of how you want to learn and evolve. All of the entries bear some relationship to bodies and minds, science and movement or thinking and learning.
